Falconer recently released their ninth album From A Dying Ember and then shocked their fans by announcing that they have decided to disband.

The disbanding was short lived as the fine gentlemen that make up Falconer have announced they are postponing their plans until they have written, released and performed a metal theatre masterpiece.

This will be a major project for the band and a fine centerpiece for Mathias Blad, the bands vocalist.

Mathias will pull double duty as he is also a theatre actor.

He will sing and act throughout the untitled metal theatre performance.

Who could forget Mathias as Peter in Jesus Christ Superstar at the Gothenburg Opera?

Not me!

There was also mentioning of a possible whimsical dance interpretation from Stefan Weinerhall.
