I love Dimmu Borgir’s previous releases but to me Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia was on another level.

Nicholas Barker absolutely makes his presence known with his monster blasts and impeccable symbol percussion. I do enjoy Tjodalv’s work but Nicholas is always in beast mode.

The addition of Galder at lead guitar explodes their line up into the stratosphere. You will be tired and exhausted both physically and mentally by the time you reach the end of this album.

A quick nap and you’ll be ready for another spin.
