A mix of Pantera, Corrosion of Conformity & Crowbar members are the genetic make up of Down.

Their sound is more along the line of Crowbar with their Southern Sludge metal release of NOLA.

 I spent a good amount of time listening to this album when it first came out. There are a few good tunes as well.

This would happen to be the one and only Down album that I have listened to as Southern Sludge metal is not a favorite genre of mine. Thanks, Platty!

NOLA might be the bible in the southern land known as Louisiana but I am educated and put this as my worst review ever.
