I know, it’s only August but winter will be coming soon.

This is the time of the year when I lived in Maine that my dad and I begin chopping wood, stacking and getting ready for the cold.

I would occasionally help my sister get and stack hay for her horses in August in time for the winter chill.

Soon winter will spray its love down our throats, well your throats, as I live in California now.

I still have a few more months before winter shows me its love. It's usually just a spray of love.

I do miss playing pond hockey in the winter, but I do not miss the snow other than writing my name in it.

I could write in cursive and standard which was difficult due to stopping the flow.

Stop complaining about the heat as this is just your summertime reminder that winter and all of its glory will soon blow all over your face.
